Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what we need to build your iPod and get it to you. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run trackers on this site.

What we collect

When you place an order: your name, shipping address, email address, and what you ordered. When you email us: whatever you choose to put in the message.

Your card details go directly to Square, our payment processor. They never touch our server and we never see your full card number.

Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser so it survives a refresh. It stays on your device and is not sent to us until you check out.

What we do not do

At the time of writing this site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking cookies. If that changes we will update this page and say so.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

Who else sees your information

Only the companies needed to complete your order: Square for payment, Hostinger who host this site and our email, and the carrier who delivers your parcel. Each sees only what they need.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, returns, accounting and tax purposes. Email correspondence is kept until it is no longer useful.

Your rights in California

If you live in California you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to delete it, and ask us to correct it. You will never be treated differently for asking. Email support@bringbacktheipod.shop and we will respond within 45 days.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection. Payment is handled by Square, who are PCI compliant. No system is perfect, but we do not hold the information that would be most worth stealing.
